PartnershipIncubator was created in 2001, as part of Business Fitness Consulting International Ltd (registered in UK in 1998).

The purpose was to extend the support given from late 1990s to startups and the European network of partners of Business Fitness Consulting International Ltd.

Beside some writing and research activities, like due diligence on prospective partners and new technologies, PartnershipIncubator.Com has always had a social research orientation.

The first public activity was the preparation and publication of the Business Fitness Magazine,

Through a market pre-selection and a script-based direct marketing cold calling and polling campaign, in few months the magazine in 2003 obtained over 800 subscribers from more than 500 leading European companies.

The target? Whoever can influence the technology adoption and evolution in companies, i.e. CEOs, COOs, CIOs, HR Directors, etc.

At the same time, PartnershipIncubator.Com used a new multi-staged methodology to vet and select potential startups to support, successfully selecting few startups, supported in all the initial activities.

Business model definition, business and marketing planning, management team selection and coaching, tutoring on communicating with authorities and potential funding entities: these are just some examples.

To optimize the allocation of resources, new technologies were tested and integrated, allowing to support startups with just one day every two weeks on site.

Alongside the process, technology was used to enable a seamless integration, with some innovation on workflow-management activities.

From late 1990s, the research and support has been mainly on integrating new media and technologies, with the associated processes, within decision making and policy setting.

Beside commercial startups and large customers, pro bono activities were focused mainly on cultural and social responsibility/development initiatives.

In 2008, the pro bono activities were expanded, supporting remotely US-based initiatives on new media/cable TV, development countries, research, logistics, cultural development programmes.
